Remanufactured OBR / Johnson & Evinrude 1978-1998 88-140 HP V4 Small Housing Gearcase

This listing is for a Remanufactured OBR Johnson/Evinrude 88-140 HP V4 Small Housing Lower Unit, which will fit models from 1978 to 1998; Small Housing models have a propshaft hub that is 3-5/8″ in diameter and a propshaft with 13 splines (Large Housing models have a propshaft hub that is 4-5/8″ and a propshaft with 15 splines. If you are looking for this large hub gearcase, we have new models for sale here). As part of the remanufacturing process, all seals, bearings, and gears will be replaced with new parts. Please note that purchasers of 1978 to 1991 models must purchase a driveshaft and reuse the shift rod; 1992 and newer OMC Gearcases have snap-in top drive shafts, also sold separately.
