New SEI / Johnson & Evinrude 1978-1988 85-140 HP V4 Lower Gearcase Assembly

This listing is for a New SEI Johnson & Evinrude Lower Unit, which will fit motors from 1978 to 1998 85-140 HP that feature a 4 1/4″ Bullet Diameter. This unit has Internal Water Screens and a pointed cavitation plate at the rear. Note that it does not include a water pump (available for $60.00) or shift shaft, which will need to be reused from the replaced unit and adjusted.

**Please note, all SEI lower units are now painted black. Despite the photo above, you will receive a black lower unit.

This unit uses a two-piece driveshaft, the upper half of which is not included. All 1992 and Newer Upper Driveshafts will be compatible with this unit.
