Requirements:
- When used with model 2005 and newer 9/9.9/15/20 outboards, an adapter harness is required.
- Older engines may also require a harness adapter.
- For model year 2005 and newer 8/9.9 Four Stroke outboards, SAE throttle/shift cables must be used.
Important Limitation:
The OEM Mercury Side-Mount Control Box Assembly is not compatible with engines that have counter-rotating lower units.
