The new Pro Marine Mercury Outboard Console Top Mount Control Box is designed for single outboard systems. It offers reliable and convenient features for optimal control and performance.
- Fast Idle Button: Easily advance the throttle for starting and warm-up without shifting into gear with the convenient fast idle button. Simply press the button (located on the control lever cover) while in neutral to open the throttle.
- Power Trim and Tilt Switch: Effortlessly adjust your engine’s position with the integrated power trim and tilt switch located on the control lever grip. Push UP to raise the engine for trailering, launching, beaching, or shallow water operation, and push DOWN to lower it.
- Adjustable Friction Nut: It allows you to customize the control lever’s resistance to prevent unwanted movement and ensure precise control. Simply turn the throttle friction screw on the remote-control box to adjust the lever’s resistance. Turning screw clockwise increases resistance, and counterclockwise decreases it.
- Improved Throttle and Shift Control: It features GEN II throttle/shift cables design. With the control handle neutral and the fast idle feature not activated, move the control handle to the Forward gear or Reverse gear position. Continue movement of the control handle in the same direction to open (advance) throttle.
- Wide Compatibility: Compatible with all current mariner outboards featuring integrated trim and newer force outboards with 40HP. Designed for a single outboard, it includes a single trim switch for convenient trim and trailering operations.
The console mount remote control is for a single outboard and replaces part # 8M0059686 8M0060783. Made of high-quality iron, it has high-temperature resistance for a long lifespan. The control box comes with a 2 ft. trim harness for easy installation. Moreover, it is furnished with a single trim switch for trailering, with the traditional 3-blade connector.
