Returns & Refund Policy

At EZ Boats Marine, we strive to provide accurate product descriptions and carefully inspected marine equipment. Due to the nature of outboard motors and marine components, our return policy is outlined below.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Return Eligibility

Because marine engines require proper installation and handling, returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

A return may be considered if:

  • The item received is materially different from the listing description

  • The item arrives damaged due to freight carrier handling

  • There was a verified shipping error on our part

All return requests must be submitted within 3 days of delivery.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Motors that have been installed, modified, or tampered with

  • Items damaged due to improper installation

  • Electrical components once connected

  • Special order items

We strongly encourage customers to review specifications and ask questions before purchasing.

3. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.

If freight damage is visible:

  • Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing

  • Take clear photographs

  • Contact us within 24 hours

Failure to document freight damage at delivery may affect claim eligibility.

4. Return Authorization Process

To request a return:

  1. Contact us at support@ezboatsmarine.com

  2. Provide your order number

  3. Include photos and a detailed explanation

If approved, we will provide return instructions.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

5. Refund Process

If a return is approved:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition it was received

  • Refunds will be issued after inspection

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method

Please allow upto 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your financial institution.

6. Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed

Freight shipping charges are significant due to the size and weight of marine engines.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment.

Once an item has shipped, it is subject to the return policy outlined above.
